These birds stretch their wings to drained and dry is soggy feathers after diving for fish. Can live up to 18 years. Swims low over the ocean and dives for big fish. It has a hook bill. Long neck and black legs and feet. Named after a German who was the director of the zoological museum in St Petersburg, Russia.

Estos pájaros extienden sus alas para drenar y secar sus plumas después de haber clavado en el agua. Viven hasta 18 años. Vuelan bajo sobre el océano y clavan para obtener peces más grandes. Algunos tienen un pico en forma de anzuelo. Tienen piernas, garganta y patas negras. Nombrado Cormorant en honor al apellido Alemán del director del museo de St Petersburg en Russia.
