Vagrant large and aggressive predator and scavenger. Human intruders are attacked by flying near heads. Feeds on eggs of other birds. Piratic. Pursue other seabirds forcing them to disgorge food and also predate their nests. Powerful fliers with thick, short, and strong hooked bills. Silent at sea.
