Difficult to see in the  dense forest. Eggs are colored blue, pink, green or brownish. their nests are found at the base of big trees. There are 17 species of Tinamous and they are rarely seen and enigmatic. They are found mostly In the southern and oriental region of Colombia. Some species are almost endemic.

Muy difíciles de observar en bosques densos. Huevos azules, verdes,  rosados o color bronce.  Nidan en la base de árboles grandes. Existen 17 especies de Tinamús. Son poco comunes y enigmáticas. Habitan en la región sur y oriental de Colombia. Algunas especies son casi endémicas
